When the children at Cornerstone watched Princess Belle and Princess Rapunzel walk into the facility, their faces lit up with big smiles. Some clients stared at them in awe, while others wanted to hold hands and sing songs with them. However, it’s safe to say that Belle’s ballgown stole the show. Many wanted to dance with her to see her dress twirl!

The Disney characters from Courage & Kindness Co. travel to hospitals and charitable events. This is the second time they have visited Cornerstone Autism Center. Each time is a magical experience for the clients and even more so for our staff.

“It made me want to cry seeing my client ask the princesses to hold hands and twirl,” said Tyra Minton, ABA Therapist. “I’ve never seen her be so excited about something! It was nice to witness those social interactions in a natural environment. When I told her parents, they were shocked too and it made it even more special to witness this priceless moment in person.”

Courage & Kindness Co. is an Indianapolis nonprofit whose mission is to provide character entertainment to those in need of a bit of sunshine!

We can’t wait to continue our partnership with this wonderful nonprofit! Thank you to Lacy Clagg Photography for capturing this magic in photographs for our families.
