Whenever I have free time, I like to spend it with my family and friends, listen to podcasts, read, and watch too much reality tv. In the warmer months I also love to go for walks outside or relax in my hammock.
I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them to reach their goals. One of my favorite things is to see the progress our clients make. I love that Cornerstone has such a fun atmosphere and allows its therapists to be silly with our clients while also working with them to achieve their goals.
My favorite memory at Cornerstone so far was the first day the Avon center opened. There was excitement in the air and we all could not wait to start seeing clients. I enjoy being able to see the center grow and I am thrilled to see everything our staff and clients will accomplish over the years.

Since coming to Cornerstone, I have gone back to school to get my masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I only have three more semesters to go and then I am one step closer to becoming a BCBA!
The kids inspire me every day to be the best version of myself. My clients teach me to be kind, patient, and compassionate. It is the greatest feeling knowing that I make a difference not only in their lives but in their families lives as well.
My favorite Cornerstone memory was when the West Lafayette Fire Department visited and let our clients and therapists check out the fire trucks! There was so much excitement from the staff and children. You do not get to experience moments like that very often.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, camping, canoeing, and hiking. I like to spend a weekend either camping with my boyfriend or staying in to watch movies and play video games.
For the last two years, I have been working on becoming a BCBA. At the end of July, I will graduate from Ball State University with a Masters in Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis with a certification in autism and applied behavior. After completing my school work, I will be studying for the Boards exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
My favorite memories at Cornerstone are when a child finds me to be a person they are comfortable with and can trust. When working with each child, you get to know them and help them grow. I am able to help them see me as a person they value and want to be with each day. After working with a child, I love to see them smile and say hi as they pass by.
