October Employee Spotlight: Meet Meggan
Name: Meggan Dew

This month’s employee spotlight features Meggan Dew, a dedicated member of our team at Cornerstone. Meggan’s passion for working with children, particularly those with special needs, has become a reality at Cornerstone. Since joining, she’s found her purpose and aspires to become a BCBA. She enjoys the gym, reading, and quality time with loved ones in her free time. Both her mother and the children she works with on a daily basis inspire her daily.
What dreams or goals have you accomplished since coming to Cornerstone? Or what are some dreams/goals that you’re currently working on?
“I have always had a love and passion for children, especially special needs children. Cornerstone is a dream come true! Since working here, I now want to go to school to become a BCBA.”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“In my free time, I like to go to the gym, read, see my friends and family, or clean! I’m always cleaning!”
Who (or what) inspires you?
“To start, my mom is my biggest inspiration, and I strive to be the woman she is! Second, my clients. My clients inspire me every day to be the best version of myself and find joy in the smallest things.”
What’s your favorite thing about working with children with autism or about working at Cornerstone?
“My favorite part of working with my clients is seeing their progress, whether it’s something huge or small. I also love the amount of joy they bring into my life.”
What’s your favorite memory so far at Cornerstone?
“My favorite memory so far at Cornerstone was the first day I got on one of my new clients, and I told him what we were doing next. I said, ‘Kapeesh,’ he copied me while laughing, and it became our thing!”
