Name: Kiara Angus

Meet Kiara, a dedicated West Lafayette Cornerstone team member who approaches each day with enthusiasm and a drive for growth. Since joining Cornerstone, she’s set an inspiring goal to pursue her master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. Read on to learn more about Kiara’s experience at Cornerstone, including her unique insights and favorite memories, like the trick-or-treat parade!

What dreams and goals have you accomplished since coming to Cornerstone? Or what are some dreams/goals that you’re currently working on?

“Since coming to Cornerstone, I have developed the goal to obtain my master’s in ABA and a dream of becoming a BCBA.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I love taking pictures, being outside, and spending time with my husband.”

Who (or what) inspires you?

“My husband inspires me to work hard and not to let my fears get in the way of trying new things! The RBTs and BCBAs I work with inspire me daily as they try to help the clients learn new skills and work through maladaptive behavior.”

What’s your favorite thing about working with children with autism or about working at Cornerstone?

“Working with children with autism has introduced me to such a unique love and patience for other people, no matter where I’m at. I love the environment and how much there is to learn.” 

What’s your favorite memory so far at Cornerstone?

“My favorite memory so far has been the trick-or-treat parade!”
