Meet Jasdip, one of our May Employee Spotlights! She finds joy in helping children with autism build independence and celebrates the small victories that come with growth. Whether it’s sharing a quiet moment with a cuddly client or dancing out the stress in a Zumba class, Jasdip brings positivity and dedication to every part of her day. Her favorite part of the job? What do you like to do in your free time?

“In my free time, I love to read books on my Kindle.”

Who (or what) inspires you? (And why?)

“My favorite part about working with children with autism is knowing that I’m making a difference in their lives.”

Can you share a moment when you felt like you made a difference in a child’s life?

“I have learned to be more patient and celebrate small victories.” 

If you could describe the impact of Cornerstone in one word, what would it be and why?

Independence, because that’s what we do every day! I try to increase independence.” 

What are some small moments of joy you experience daily in your work?

“’Some small moments that bring me joy are when my clients just cuddle up with me and just feel so comfortable to be with me. It’s relaxing!”

What’s a hobby or activity you’re passionate about outside of work?

“After a long day, I try to get to the gym and take a Zumba class and dance out the stress.” 

If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be and why?

“Cooking! I’m a pretty good cook, but I feel like I could do better, because I love to eat!”
