What dreams or goals have you accomplished since coming to Cornerstone? Or what are some dreams/goals that you’re currently working on?
“I’m working on getting a bigger house for my family! We want land and I’m trying to convince my fiance to let me get a horse!
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I would like to read or do puzzles, but my baby does not allow such luxuries right now. With the free time that I do have, I like to go on runs!”
Who (or what) inspires you?
“My mom! She is truly amazing. She is such a confident, independent woman who sticks up for herself and the people she loves. She knows how to reach her goals and makes sure her voice is heard. She is the reason I’m as strong as I am today.”
What’s your favorite thing about working with children with autism or about working at Cornerstone?
“I love the environment this place has! The staff and kids alike are amazing, and seeing them every day puts a smile on my face.”
What’s your favorite memory so far at Cornerstone?
“Honestly, it’s making the graduation videos for this summer! While it is a tremendous amount of work, I love to see how the kids have grown since they started at Cornerstone and how much the staff has bonded with them.”
