Meet Kennedy, one of our January Employee Spotlight! Kennedy has achieved incredible milestones since joining Cornerstone and continues to set meaningful goals for herself. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing with loved ones and drawing inspiration from her clients and co-workers. Read on to learn more about Kennedy and her favorite moments at Cornerstone!
What dreams or goals have you accomplished since coming to Cornerstone? Or what are some dreams/goals that you’re currently working on?
“Since starting at Cornerstone, I’ve earned my master’s degree, passed my boards, and became a BCBA! My goal for the next year is to continue building meaningful relationships with my clients and their families.”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I love to relax at home with movie marathons, bake desserts, and play games with my family and friends!”
Who (or what) inspires you?
“There is not just one one person. All of my co-workers and their determination day in and out inspire me to push through hard days and reach goals. My clients also inspire me to celebrate small wins, enjoy life, and have fun!”
What’s your favorite thing about working with children with autism or about working at Cornerstone?
“My favorite thing about working at Cornerstone is finding life-long friends who share the same passions as me. My favorite thing about working with kids with ASD is their ability to find joy in little things! I spend a lot of my days playing and laughing with the kids.”
What’s your favorite memory so far at Cornerstone?
“There are so many! I think I love seeing so many clients reach goals and graduate. Even though it is sad seeing them leave, I know they are moving on to bigger and better things.”
