Since joining Cornerstone, Terra has grown both personally and professionally, embracing each child’s unique abilities and finding inspiration in this field. Outside of work, she enjoys creating art, spending time with loved ones (including a beloved dog and a best friend’s cat), and volunteering. What do you like to do in your free time?
“In my free time, I enjoy various things, including working on art and projects, spending time with friends and loved ones (including my dog and best friend’s cat), and volunteering.”
What’s your favorite thing about working with children with autism or about working at Cornerstone?
“My favorite thing about working with children with autism at Cornerstone is being a part of and seeing their individualized needs and abilities being embraced and focused on. I have learned so much here, with prior experience as a CNA and going through the public school system with an undiagnosed learning disability, broadening my skills and repatterning my own experiences as a kid. This field gives me hope and a path to impact the lives of others and my own directly.”
What’s your favorite memory so far at Cornerstone?
“I cannot pick a singular, favorite memory so far – there are so many funny, special, and meaningful moments the past year and a half.”
