2022 A Year In Review

When we look back at the last year, it can be tricky deciding which accomplishments to highlight when there are SO many! We have celebrated countless achievements of both our clients and staff throughout the year, but the end of the year allows us to look through a larger lens and see everything in full. At Cornerstone, we all know the meaning of hard work, and we could not be more proud to share some of our most significant milestones from 2022!

Here’s To Our Staff!

Our organization currently has dozens of staff members who are on the path to furthering their education by obtaining a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In 2022, 12 of those individuals completed their degrees! Huge congratulations to:

Staff who have completed their master’s programs then move to the next step, passing their Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification! This process takes months of acquiring clinical hours, studying into the wee hours of the night, and countless practice tests to one day see those coveted letters after their name, “BCBA”! This past year we celebrated six staff members who did just that!

In 2022, we celebrated the transition of several clients who are now on to their next adventure beyond Cornerstone. Looking back at each of those clients, we remember their first few days walking through our doors and are amazed at how they gained skills and flourished into the confident and outstanding individuals we know today. We will forever miss each of them, but we are overjoyed to know that we played a central part in their lives.

As we said goodbye to some clients, we also welcomed multiple new clients and caregivers who are now a part of the Cornerstone family. We cannot wait to grow and learn along with them during their time here, and feel blessed to be part of their journey.

Changing Lives, One Achievement At A Time

At Cornerstone, we work to provide a better quality of life for our clients and their families. We help broaden our clients’ communication, assist them with essential life skills that many take for granted, develop social interactions to create friendships and relationships with their peers and family, and so much more. Our clients and therapists work on various programs and skills to further their growth and overall independence, not only at the center but for the home and the community.

In the last year, we were thrilled to announce that across all five of our centers, our clients have mastered an astounding 88,213 targets! This represents skills learned, abilities gained, and programs accomplished! As incredible as that is, that number is only a fraction of everything we do for our clients. Every year a client is with us, is another year of laughter and hugs, big and small victories, and memories to last forever!

Thank you to EVERYONE who made 2022 what it was. We are excited for 2023, and here’s to another year of success, joy, and achievement!
