Meet Sam, a dedicated team member who gracefully balances work and family life. She finds inspiration in her colleagues who have been in the field for years, admiring their perseverance through the rewarding and challenging moments of working in ABA. For Sam, the most fulfilling aspect of being at Cornerstone is the supportive community, and the joy of helping children with autism thrive. What do you like to do in your free time?

“I like to sleep in my free time. Having two kids, four and under, I don’t get a lot of free time, so when I do, I try to catch up on my beauty sleep.”

Who (or what) inspires you?

“The BCBAs and RBTs who have been in this field for over two years inspire me so much. To see them stick through the good and the hard moments in such a challenging field is amazing.”

What’s your favorite thing about working with children with autism or about working at Cornerstone?

“Working with children with Autism is so rewarding. I love the work environment Cornerstone provides. Even on hard days, we all support each other in some way!”

What’s your favorite memory so far at Cornerstone?

“My favorite memory at Cornerstone is when ‘Santa’ came and gave books out.”
