What dreams or goals have you accomplished since coming to Cornerstone? Or what are some dreams/goals that you’re currently working on?

“Since starting work at Cornerstone, I have discovered my dream of becoming a behavior analyst. I recently started graduate school for ABA and Cornerstone has been very supportive in that journey.”

What’s your favorite memory so far at Cornerstone?

“I remember that there was once a cat walking outside and a client looked out the window and said ‘The cat is by the United States stick.’ He didn’t know what a flag pole was, but he was using the skills he had learned so far to tell us about something he was really excited about.”

Can you share a moment when you felt like you made a difference in a child’s life?

“I felt like I made a difference in a child’s life when I found educational resources that fit his interests and incorporated them into his learning. He went from not interacting or sitting at a table to singing about numbers and completing academic activities at a desk on his own for 5+ minutes.”

What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken or a place you’d love to visit?

“I really enjoyed my trip to St. Augustine, FL. In town, there was so much culture and history to explore. And the home we stayed in was quiet and relaxing.”

What’s your go-to way to unwind after a long day?

“I love to unwind by spending time with my cats. I love their endless energy and unconditional love.”

What’s your favorite book, movie, or TV show, and why do you love it?

“My favorite movie is Howl’s Moving Castle. I love how it shows that it doesn’t matter what you look like or what outsiders think of you. What matters is who you are inside and the relationships you have with the people you love.”
