The June Lineup!

Nothing says “Summer is here” more than a good festival! My kids always look forward to getting out and seeing what’s going on around town. We have made many memories at our local Strawberries on the Square, County Fair, and town celebrations. Festivals bring so much excitement for the whole family. Here is what is happening near you during June:

Greenwood

Our Lady of Greenwood Parish Festival
June 8th-10th
Our Lady of the Greenwood Church
335 S. Meridian St. Greenwood, Indiana 46143

This festival will have food booths, amusement rides, games, and more. Event hours are June 8th: 5 pm-11 pm, June 9th: 5 pm-12 am, June 10th: 2 pm-12 am.

Freedom Festival
June 24th
Craig Park

It kicks off at 4 pm with the Parade!

5:30 pm – 9:00 pm — Music on the Event Lawn
9:15 pm – 10:00 pm –Honor Our Heroes with Grace Assembly of God
10:00 pm – 10:15 pm — Star Spangled Banner/Retire the Flag
10:15 pm – K.O.R.N. Country 100.3 Musical Fireworks Blast Off!!

Franklin

Pool Party and Dive In 
June 15th

Enjoy a free pool party from 7 to 9 pm, followed by the showing of Sing 2 around 9 pm Concessions will be available for purchase.

Avon

Hendricks County Rib-Fest and B.B.Q.
June 24th

The Hendricks County Rib-Fest & B.B.Q. lights up the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds with the illumination of festive hot air balloons and fireworks after dark.

West Lafayette

Outdoor Explore! 2023

The event occurs at two venues, the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater in West Lafayette and Bicentennial Nature Area in Lafayette (just a 10-minute drive from the amphitheater).

Columbus

Bartholomew County 4-H Fair
June 23rd-July 1st

This event showcases agricultural and livestock products and services, craft items, amusement rides, food and beverages, free music, free attractions, and family-oriented games to make an excellent fun experience.
