Emily-Kate has been referred to as “a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.” She has a special talent for always being able to find the silver lining in any tough situation. Emily-Kate finds enjoyment when bringing smiles to others faces, whether that is through the music she plays on her violin or through a random act of kindness.

Emily-Kate started playing violin at the wee-age of five and has continued to play nonstop all the way through high school and college, where she was a member of the Franklin College string ensemble. She loves playing music that tells a story and brings forth different emotions. She would love to share her passion, and one day, teach other children how to create music. When she is not at work or playing her violin, she enjoys reading, going to antique shops, traveling and collecting coffee mugs.

Her dream is to go on a mission trip to share God’s love and to someday teach young children overseas.
