Alexis McKenzie, Therapist

Alexis McKenzie

Therapist

Bachelor’s in Child Development and minor in ABA, Ball State University

Alexis is a huge Michigan Wolverines fan, dog lover, and strong advocate for the saying, “everything happens for a reason.” She may seem shy at first, but she is a ray of sunshine once the shell is broken. She is always open to having a friendly conversation and is easy to approach. Alexis is not afraid to turn a bad day into an amazing day for each and every one of the clients she comes in contact with.

Alexis knew she wanted to pursue her dream in the ABA field once she met her best friend in high school through Best Buddies. Being able to watch his progression and feel the friendship grow between them was something that she will carry with her for the rest of her life. Alexis has always wanted to help others and being able to shape the lives of others is something she will always hold close to her heart.

During football season you will catch her in front of a tv or at the games! She also loves to cook and is always the one who brings her crockpot everywhere she goes. Alexis also enjoys having game night with her friends and family (mostly Heads Up). She is planning on going back to pursue her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a focus in autism.

Her dream is to become a BCBA.
