A wonderful opportunity from ASI and Indy's Edge Photography

The Autism Society of Indiana and Indy'sEdge Photography have teamed up to offer families and individuals living with autism the opportunity to have professional photos made and the possibility to be a part of ASI's Autism Awareness Campaign and video.

There are a limited number of appointments available on Friday, May 4th from 3-7p and Friday, May 18th from 3-7pm. For specific information on scheduling your appointment, click here to view the flyer from ASI and Indy's Edge.

Purdue students develop an app to help children with severe autism

SPEAKall is an app developed by the Purdue University EPICS Department to help children with special needs learn the process of constructing sentences. The app is customizable to the specific needs of each child by its ability to use downloaded images and recordable audio. Purde has made SPEAKall available thru iTunes for a free download.

Cornerstone Autism Center in Purdue Alumnus magazine!

Cornerstone Autism Center, and one of our wonderful West Lafayette families, are the subject of a feature article in the September/October issue of Purdue Alumnus magazine! The article serves to "Shine a Light on Autism" and highlights the journey of two families--the founders of Cornerstone and a family that now receives services at the center. Two Purdue alumni, now Cornerstone employees, are also featured in the article offering their insight on their chosen field of study and what it's like to be a therapist working with children with autism.

Watching a movie in a theater can be challenging for families and children with autism and sensory issues. Goodrich Quality Theaters and Cornerstone Autism Center are proud to present Lights Up, Sound Down, a monthly program specifically geared to give families and children with autism and sensory issues the opportunity to enjoy their favorite movies in a comfortable, sensory - friendly setting with the lights turned up and volume turned down in the auditorium.

Cornerstone Sponsors Jack's Walk for Autism

Sunday, October 2nd, 1PM - Province Park, Franklin, Indiana

Cornerstone Autism Center is proud to be a sponsor of this year's 8th Annual Jack's Walk for Autism. The event will be held on Sunday, October 2nd at Province Park in Franklin, Indiana. The fun begins at 1 pm with registration, door prizes, face painting, balloons, games, clowns and more! A family friendly two-mile walk commences at 2:15, followed by snacks and entertainment. It's a great way to spend the afternoon. Come out and see the staff of Cornerstone Autism Center and support a great cause!

Strike Out Autism Event

Strike Out Autism and Cornerstone have teamed up for a fun-filled family event to help raise awareness of autism and other pervasive spectrum disorders. All proceeds will benefit the Autism Society of Indiana.

The day will include information on autism, a motorcycle ride (with help from the CMA), a slew of children's games and activities: a bounce house and obstacle course, indoor and outdoor play grounds, bean bag toss, bucket game, cornhole, dart board game, dive for ducks, dig for dinosaurs, tic tac toe, everyone's favorite PLINKO, water balloon toss ..... participate and win PRIZES!

Meet Madame Debra and have your fortune told. Have your face painted, get temporary tatooed, or do a crazy hair style with Haleigh and her team.

Wonderful supporters like LEO Originals will be showcasing beautiful jewelry. Participate in our silent auction featuring some amazing items! From Texas Roadhouse gift baskets, an autographed book from Jenny McCarthy, to a signed baseball and baseball bat!

Food vendors will be on site, with family friendly pricing, and a delicious hog roast! Special treats from Culver's and more!

All ages welcome and encouraged! Bring the whole family and your neighbors!
Admission is free. Games and bouncehouse wristband only $5 (donations accepted).
Motorcycle ride $5 minimum donation/person (sign in starts at 11 am)

Comedian Stacy Williams will be our MC for the afternoon.
Live music from local atrists: Jim Stout, Jes Smith, Chelsea Taylor and Johnny BHIVE to keep us groovin. The mascot from Texas Roadhouse: Andy the Armadillo, and balloon artist Joseph White will be on hand to entertain us.
