Greenwood Location
Our Greenwood facility is located in the historic Polk Place building on the corner of Main and Polk Street. This 100+ year old building has been beautifully restored into a warm and inviting environment that is the perfect host for a center dedicated to the progress of children.
The facility is unique and has charming architectural details such as exposed brick and arched walls, which along with the open, loft-like atmosphere is a welcoming place for children and staff alike. With over 9,000 square feet, the center boasts individual child workstations, a classroom, numerous group rooms for social activities, a large gross-motor room, a full kitchen and two mini kitchens, a life skills room, an assessment room and a computer lab. The center supports all special diets.
The center is located in a neighborhood with ample green space to encourage outdoor play. Our playground is a true kid magnet with a huge jungle gym and outdoor trampoline. The grounds are dotted with mature trees, and is home to the second oldest tree in Johnson County.
